Frikkie Befrikte Vinnige Aandetes:

 Tannie Epic's Epic Mince Bake
This is a quick, SUUUPER easy and very tasty recipe, perfect for a bit of comfort food with this cloudy weather we have been having. You don't have to follow the mince recipe perfectly, if you have your own way of making  mince, then use it or if you don't have the specific ingredients you can put in whatever you think will work, but for the pasta bit, use the recipe below.
What you need:

For the Mince:
  •  500g Mince
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Can Chopped Tomatoes
  • ½ Packet Brown Onion soup
  • ½ Tablespoon Vegetable Stock powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Herbs
  • A few Squirts Worcestershire Sauce
  • A Whole lot of Chutney
  • A Swing of White Wine
  • A Dollop of Tomato Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
For the pasta:
  • 250g Macaroni or Squiggly Pasta
  • 1 Cup grated Cheese, and a bit extra for topping.
  • 250ml Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How to make it:

- Preheat the oven to 220'C and grease a ovenproof dish.
- Start with the mince, fry the onion in a little bit of olive oil.
- Add the mince and fry till brown.
- Add the can chopped tomatoes and brown onion soup and mix well.
- Add all the rest of the ingredients one at a time.
- Simmer for 10 minutes while you make the pasta.
- Make the pasta as per packet instructions.
- While the pasta is cooking, mix the cheese, evaporated milk and the eggs in a large mixing bowl.
- When the pasta is cooked, drain the water and add to the evaporated milk mixture, salt and pepper to taste.
- Now for the assembling: spoon the mince into the greased dish.
- Pour the pasta mixture over, top with a little extra grated cheese.
- Place uncovered into the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until pasta mixture has set.
- And there you have it, dinner on the table before the clock strikes 7! BOOM!!
